Booking Conditions:

1) The dwellings known as ‘The Mill’ and ‘The Wheelhouse’ {or Thué} ("The properties") are offered for Holiday Rental subject to confirmation by Steve D'Aulby ("The Owner") to the renter ("The Client").

2) To reserve either property the Client should complete the Booking Form and return it, together, with the non-refundable deposit (£200 per week per property booked). Following the receipt of the Booking Form and deposit, the Owner will send a confirmation invoice. This is formal acceptance of the booking.

3) Balance of the rental, together with security deposit (see Clause 4) is payable not less than twelve (12) weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date the Owner reserves the right to give notice, in writing, that the reservation is canceled. Reservations made within twelve weeks of the start of the rental period require payment at the time of booking. We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties, and do not store financial information (credit or debit card numbers) provided for card transactions.

4) Refundable security deposit of £100 per dwelling per week is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or contents. However, sum reserved by this clause shall not limit client's liability to the Owner. The Owner will account to the Client for the security deposit and refund any balance due within two weeks after rental period.

5) Subject to Clauses 2 and 3 above, in event of a non-insurable cancellation, refunds of balance amounts paid will be made if the Owner is able to re-let the Property. Any expenses or losses incurred in doing so will be deducted from refundable amount (booking deposit element is not refundable). The Client is strongly advised to arrange  comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and have full cover for  party's personal belongings, public liability etc. Since these are not covered by the Owners insurance. It is recommended that all travelers should apply for and carry an EHIC (European Health Insurance Card). This recently replaced the E111. Apply on line - https://www.ehic.org.uk/InternetPROD/home.do

6) The rental periods shall commence at 14:30 on the first day and finish at 9:30 on the last day. The Owner shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated.

7) The maximum number of people to reside in each property must not exceed 12 (Wheelhouse) or 20 (Mill) unless the Owner has given written permission.

8) The client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. The Owner reserves the right to make a retention from the security deposit to cover any damage or additional cleaning costs if the Client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition.

9) The client shall report to the Owner, without delay, any defects or breakdown in equipment's, plant, machinery or appliances in the property, swimming pools or any of the facilities, so that arrangements for repair or replacement can be made as soon as possible.

10) The Owner shall not be liable to the Client ... for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the property, garden, accommodation or swimming pool.... for any loss, damage or injury which is as a result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the Owners control. The Owners liability to the Client will not exceed the amount paid to the Owner for the rental period.

11) No pets allowed on the premises under any circumstance.

12) Helmets are not provided for the bikes, it is recommended that you take your own if you wish to use these. The bikes provided are used at you own risk.
